Fiore: The Legend of The Royal Princess

Dear Ellist,

You might have heard about Cinderella and her glass slippers or Rapunzel and her long golden hair. But have you heard the story of a royal princess where her beauty was said to match a garden of thousand roses? Here's how the story began.

CHAPTER I

Back in the 19th century, there lived a princess named Fiore. She was the most beautiful princess of her time and she was loved by many. Her beauty was compared to a garden with thousands of blooming roses, totally bewitching and mesmerizing. Her skin was as flawless and delicate as a rose-leaf, and her eyes was as blue as the deepest ocean that sparkled with truth and purity. She was the symbol of beauty and dignity during her reign.

Legends said that the secrets of her beauty lied within her majestic garden of flowers located at the very center of her royal palace. Every dawn, she would take a stroll around the ground for a few hours to admire the beauty of her roses. Amusingly, the scent of the flowers would linger on her skin and leave a warm trail wherever she went. Every person who walked pass her would fell in love with the sweetness of her smell; be it a noble or a pauper.

One evening, as the princess was overlooking the tinted crimson gradient sky, she whispered to herself, “I want to be forever remembered, especially by him.”, and thereupon she plucked a few of her blooming red roses and brought it straight to her perfumer. She believed that beautiful scents would evoke beautiful memories and strong feelings, therefore she wanted to preserve them in a glass perfume bottle so that they would never fade away.

To perfect the fragrance, the princess mixed in other scents – peonies; to symbolize beauty, honor and love, citrus; to signify nobility and lastly, sandalwood; to give a lovely aromatic trail to its wearer. And so, as all the ingredients came together, there it born the most romantic and beautiful fragrance ever made. It was the fragrance to express affection and devotion towards her loved ones, and the fragrance was named, FIORE.

For every love story, there would be a happy happy ending but to reach to the end of the rainbow would take a lot of sacrifices too. But will Princess Fiore make it?

To be continued..

Love,
Elly
